Job Description

Position is located in the beautiful Gainesville, GA (one hour north of Atlanta, GA)
Children and Adolescents who battle substance abuse need a fun alternative to drugs and alcohol. Kids need a place to socialize and belong from the hours of 12pm -9pm. This Behavioral Professional will:

•Oversee all aspects of an adolescent substance abuse clubhouse
•Must be energetic and have a passion for working with teens.
•Conduct counseling sessions on an individual, group and family basis.
•Lead groups and family outreach to clients and families in a clubhouse environment.
•Provide general oversight to consumers while on site
•Organize and supervise activities such as movie night, board game night, sports night, electronic games, and field trips.
•Document all services rendered

Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays (must be available Tues - Friday 12 to 9 and occasional Saturdays).
Candidates must also be willing to participate in recreation and leisure activities based on consumer/group needs.




Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
•CACII (or CADC equivalent) certification from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) required
• Bachelor's Degree
•Must have experience in conducting recreational activities
•Must have supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual a plus. (All employees, regardless of position, receive 20% above entry for bilingual Spanish skills)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills

Applicants must not have six (6) or more points against his/her driver's license and no driver may have had a suspended or revoked license within the past five years.
