Roger L. Scott, Ph.D

Chief Operating Officer

Roger joined the organization in October 1996. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Employee Assistance Professional with a Ph.D in Social Work from the University of Georgia. He has over 30 years clinical and managerial experience in a diverse range of settings including business and industry employee assistance programs, private practice and public non-profit organizations.

He has taught graduate-level university courses on clinical practive and on the design and management of service delivery systems. Since October 1999, Roger has served as an Administrative Surveyor and Survey Team Leader for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

At Avita, Roger is responsible for Corporate Compliance & Accreditation, Utilization & Outcomes Management, Health & Safety, and Consumer Rights.
