Women’s Treatment and Recovery Service Residential Program (WTRS) is OPEN

Tuesday May 10, 2016 - On April 5, 2016 the licensing inspection by the HealthCare Facility Regulation Division of the Department of Community Health was completed. On April 6th Avita’s Women’s Treatment and Recovery Service Residential Program (WTRS) began admitting women for addiction treatment services. Our current funding through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) will provide funding for 10 women and their children.

The program occupies one full building of 6 townhomes in a brand new complex. Each residential townhome has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and dining room, laundry and study area. One townhome will be utilized for clinical services and one for community gathering, therapeutic child care, donation room, and arts and crafts.
